Word on the blogs is that Daft Punk will be scoring the sequel to the 1982 Disney Science Fiction flick Tron. This has me pretty excited for the new Tron sequel as it shows they aren’t afraid of trying new things. This will be Daft Punk’s first film score.

Outlander has been a movie I’ve been looking forward to for some time. It’s got Spaceships, Monsters and Vikings. What more could you ask for? Looks like the DVD/Blu-Ray is finally on it’s way after a very limited theatrical run. Look for it in stores or online May 19, 2009. I know I’ll be picking it up that day!
Guillermo del Toro is the man. Recently I found out he’s producing a really interesting sounding Science Fiction film called Splice . Kind of an Alien meets Frankenstein type story, but these images turned my head in a huge way.
Directed by Vincenzo Natali (Cube) and starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley, Splice is the story of two rogue scientists who decide to take genetic splicing to the next level. Basically, all hell then breaks loose.
Much like Snakes on a Plane, the new low budget zombie flick directed by Bennie Woodell kills two birds with one stone with it’s title: Fast Zombies With Guns! So, call me curious.
You can see the trailer and even purchase the film at the official website.
