Spike Jonze’s film version of Where the Wild Things Are has been in my sights for some time. I loved the book as a kid and am loving the visuals I’ve been seeing. Finally, official marketing is kicking into gear. In 2 weeks we’ll see a trailer, but until then we have the official poster to tide us over!
The combination of actual costumes enhanced with CGI sounds like a brilliant move and from the photos and now the poster I can’t wait for this.

UPDATE: more pictures added. More info/plot revealed by USA Today.
The name alone to this upcoming horror flick grabbed me. The Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre tells the story of a group of whale watchers, whose ship breaks down and they get picked up by a whale fisher vessel. Hence, bad things happen.
No word yet on a distributor or release date. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one.
