The Wall Street Journal deemed “smoking smarties” a newsworthy subject and wrote a HUGE article on this “phenomenon.”
I used to “fake smoke” everything as a kid. I remember there were candy cigarettes for crying out loud. I “smoked” Twizzlers and things like that but never did it get to the point of potentially inhaling Smarties. Although I did know a kid who would crush them up and sniff them like cocaine.
So, that said, I think YouTube is bringing this sort of behavior into the public knowledge and in turn more kids are trying this. But to me this is not a shocking phenomenon. This is kids being kids. Believe me, I’ve seen/done worse.
