Yahoo! Movies got a hold of a first look at Chris Hemsworth as Thor in Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming adaptation of Marvel’s classic character. I’d have to say I like what I see so far. Final thoughts will come when I see Chris Hemsworth in action via a trailer. I do think it looks a bit to “brand new” but I totally trust Branagh with this.

In order to advertise Burger King’s late night hours, the company hired Dubai based ad agency Tonic to come up with some print ads. I’m very pleased they went the Horror route and used some key Horror Icons for some pretty entertaining ads. (Although there are a couple glaring mistakes with a certain villan’s clawed hand, see if you can point it out.)

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything about the upcoming film Iron Sky. An “alt-history” high concept comedy about Nazi’s living on the moon. The last time we heard anything there were only concept pictures and a concept teaser trailer.
The geek in me leaped for joy when I learned that Pre-Production has started on the film, and we can all glimpse the first look at the Nazi Moon Troopers. Â Iron Sky is set to be released some time in 2011. Â For more information, check out the Official Iron Sky Website.

More badass photos from Stallone’s The Expendables makes me want to immediately start doing crunches in my cubicle. Can I fit a weight set in there?
The Expendables is pretty close to wrapping principle photography and the images we’ve been getting have been awesome. 80′s macho heavy weights like Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren team up with a handful of other machismo actors like Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Jason Statham and Eric Roberts. Van Damme, what did you turn a role down in this?!?!?! There are even rumors of Schwarzenegger making an appearance.
Here are the pics. The Expendables is scheduled to hit theatres on April 23rd, 2010.
In Judd Apatow‘s comedy Funny People, Adam Sandler plays a popular comedian named George Simmons. He’s a successful comedian turned actor who (like Sandler himself) has appeared in many crappy films. After the jump, see the posters for these fake posters, also view clips and plot outlines.
Funny People will be in Theaters July 31, 2009.

As a kid I used to sleep with my blankets around my neck for fear a Vampire would come into my room. I was also scared of monsters in the closet, so would make sure my closet was closed. Every now and then I’d check under the bed.
Photographer Joshua Hoffine has created some brilliant photos recreating childhood fears. These are really well done and really freaky. They took me back to my childhood for sure.
